Serial in-house production with industrial robots
We produce the BRIQs for our timber construction system in series at our own parent plant in Tübingen. Our production starts with the further processing of squared timber from calamity wood, which we obtain from regional forestry operations. The further processing with our own planing machines guarantees highest precision and the exact fitting accuracy of all parts.
The core of our production consists of Kuka robots. These transform the planed squared timber along our patented three-axial dowel system into absolutely high-quality and statically flawless wooden building blocks (BRIQs). In this way, we are able to further process calamity wood (weak wood, damaged wood, beetle wood, etc.) into a recyclable building material that can be used in large volumes.
The entire plant is highly flexible and replicable. Against this background, a scaling of the production capacities according to demand can easily be implemented regionally, but also supra-regionally. The modular system is ideally suited for decentralized production directly at the sawmill.

Regional wood sourcing,
waste-free delivery
It is important to us to think and implement sustainability holistically. For the production of our BRIQs, we therefore rely on short delivery routes and regional wood sourcing. Our partner sawmill is located 20 km away from our main plant and obtains its wood from the surrounding forests.
Following our production, our BRIQs are loaded onto Euro pallets without waste and shipped. We ensure weather protection by means of reusable hoods.
All truck journeys are fully compensated with a view to their emissions balance.
