TRIQBRIQ is part of the IBA’27 network

Since last week the sustainable timber construction system TRIQBRIQ of the Stuttgart-based company TRIQ is officially part of the network of the International Building Exhibition 2027 City Region Stuttgart.

The timber construction system is a patented solid wood building system that can be assembled without environmentally harmful composite materials. The standardized wood building blocks, made from low-cost weak and damaged wood, are fully recyclable. Therefore, promoting sustainability criteria in shell construction such as CO2 binding, energy-saving, recycling, and indoor climate.

Quick planning and easy assembly make the wood system cost-efficient and fast to implement.

The first prototype of TRIQBRIQ is already in place and three construction projects are being planned. The TRIQBRIQ construction system thus meets the objectives of IBA’27, particularly in terms of achieving climate targets in the construction sector and the sustainable life cycle of buildings.

About the IBA'27 network

The IBA’27 network brings together constructional and non-constructional projects that ambitiously tackle the future of building, living, and working in Stuttgart.

IBA’27 creates a network of knowledge with relevant ideas for the future of the region. There is research, collaboration, discussion – and last but not least, building.

IBA’27 documents these projects and promotes exchange between the various sponsors and the working groups, specialist forums, and the scientific community.
