One facility, five KUKA robots, up to 100,000 BRIQs a year – decentralized, right at the sawmill.
The heart of our main plant in Tübingen is the new, fully automated production line: five KUKA robots in four production cells transform planed squared timber into high-quality, structurally sound wooden building blocks (BRIQs) – with a capacity of up to 100,000 BRIQs per year.
The squared timber for this comes from industrial or calamity wood sourced from regional forestry operations; reclaimed construction timber is also used. This turns low-grade wood, damaged wood, beetle-killed wood, and more into a circular building material that can be used in large volumes.
The facility is compact, can run for up to an hour without a permanent operator present, and can be set up decentrally directly at the sawmill.
We are now implementing exactly this model with our first international licensing partner in Austria.
Because the shorter the distances between forest, production, and construction site, the more consistently our sustainability standards are upheld – decentralized production is therefore a key building block of our entire value chain.

You purchase the facility, produce and sell BRIQs independently in your market – we provide the technology and license, you develop your region. Already implemented in Austria, currently being set up in Sweden, Portugal, Switzerland, and the USA.

The commissioning of our new production facility is the technological proof that we are ready for international scaling. We celebrated this day with over 300 guests from politics and business, and that makes us incredibly proud. Having international partners as guests, with whom we have already reached concrete agreements, was a real highlight.

Sustainability thought through holistically
At TRIQBRIQ, we think about sustainability holistically – from raw material to the last mile. For production, we rely on regional timber sourcing and short delivery routes: one of our partner sawmills is just 20 km from our main plant and sources its timber from the surrounding forests.
Our BRIQs are delivered completely waste-free on Euro pallets, protected by reusable covers.
