A new home defined by clear architecture, natural materials, and an especially short construction time: in Langenau, a single-storey bungalow with a flat roof, green roof, and photovoltaic system was built. Around 840 BRIQs were used for the exterior walls on a footprint of 19 × 9 metres.

Even the persistent rain during construction week barely slowed the rapid progress. The exterior walls went up quickly, followed by the prefabricated timber-frame interior walls, and then the roof. The entire structure was assembled within just two and a half days.

The project shows how efficiently and reliably you can build with the micro-modular TRIQBRIQ system – even under challenging weather conditions. At the same time, a compact, modern home was created that combines sustainability, living quality, and a clear architectural form.

In January 2026, the owners were finally able to move into their new home. Their verdict: “We are very happy – both with your BRIQs and with what came out of them.”

“Faster Than a Bricklayer!”

Insights into the planning process:
Architect Karin Müller talks about how she developed, planned, and supported the project with TRIQBRIQ through to completion.

With TRIQBRIQ, the shell construction was so quick and easy, it was really fun – faster than a bricklayer!
