In collaboration with architecture firm Beta Realities, we were able to realise the CRCLR HUT, a forward-looking construction project on the site of the Urban Tech Republic in Berlin TXL. On behalf of the State of Berlin, Tegel Projekt GmbH is developing the former Tegel Airport site into an innovation park for urban technologies, the Urban Tech Republic, as well as a smart residential district, the Schumacher Quartier.
A central element of this project is the FUTR HUT, a competence centre for sustainable urban construction that will be built on the site. Here, the future of building is being reimagined, creating a place of collaboration for research, testing, and production, with a particular focus on timber and other renewable building materials.
The pavilion, built with our TRIQBRIQ system, is the first timber building on the site. The CRCLR HUT stands not only for architectural creativity and the vision of a future-proof, circular construction method, but is also a symbol of the possibilities that arise from innovative partnerships in construction.
We are delighted about the close cooperation between Tegel Projekt GmbH, co-initiators and architects Beta Realities, and TRIQBRIQ, which represents a further step towards sustainable urban development.
