Our Head of PR Lewin Fricke visited the German Bundestag to discuss the advantages of building with calamity wood with members of parliament Niklas Wagener and Tessa Ganserer. Conversations covered sustainable forest conversion, timber value chains, and potential improvements to the Building Energy Act and the Closed Substance Cycle Waste Management Act. Fittingly, both meetings took place inside the Bundestag’s own timber-built “Luisenblock West”.
