In Karlsbad, a two-storey single-family house with around 215 m² of gross floor area was built using the circular TRIQBRIQ timber construction system. The shell construction for building a house with wooden building blocks was completed within just six days – built by a team of only two to three people. A total of 2,113 BRIQs were used.

The building permanently stores around 40,610 kg of CO₂, demonstrating how efficiently, sustainably, and climate-consciously a house can be built with wooden building blocks. The glue-free, mono-material construction method simplifies site logistics while also giving architects and clients a high degree of planning certainty.

The project illustrates how building a house with wooden building blocks enables a sustainable, circular, and collaboratively achievable form of construction.
