We started the new year at full speed, carrying the strong momentum from 2025 straight into 2026. The past two months were shaped by product launches, new projects and strong partnerships – from our first TRIQ garden office, through sustainable pilot projects, to the next supermarket construction site.
LAUNCH OF THE TRIQ PRODUCT LINE
Right in time for the holidays, the TRIQ Garden Office launched as the first product of our new TRIQ collection. TRIQ brings our building system directly to our customers – modular, demountable and, above all, delivered as complete building kits.
The first product: a 3 × 3 m garden office made from our BRIQs. Completely glue-free, single-material, and available with an optional PV system, heat pump and interior fittings. In cooperation with Beta Realities, we of course supply the kit including an intuitive assembly guide. Thanks to a consistently circular design, the office also remains flexible to extend and dismantle in terms of its overall materiality.

GROUNDBREAKING FOR COOPERATIVE HOUSING WITH RAAB BAUGESELLSCHAFT
At the end of January, another flagship project got underway in Upper Franconia: construction of the cooperative housing quarter „Kleiner Wohnen @ Land“ is creating an innovative model for ecological building in Redwitz an der Rodach.
RAAB Baugesellschaft is combining a range of sustainable building materials – including our TRIQBRIQ solid-wood blocks, hemp-lime blocks, unfired clay bricks, straw insulation and clay plaster. The goal is a circular, low-CO₂ and socially responsible architecture.
The project is accompanied by Coburg University of Applied Sciences and funded by the Federal Ministry for Housing, Urban Development and Building under the „Pilot Projects – Innovations in the Building Sector“ programme.
Our team already presented the project to Federal Building Minister Verena Hubertz at Expo Real 2025 – including a symbolic BRIQ assembly at our stand.
NEW EMPLOYEES
TJEERD VAN DER GALIËN
Since October, Tjeerd van der Galiën has been supporting production and logistics at TRIQBRIQ. As an experienced project manager, he brings strong planning and process optimisation skills.
Before joining TRIQBRIQ, he gained extensive experience in projects in metrology, production and quality management.
He is now applying his broad expertise to help advance our TRIQBRIQ solid-wood building system. We are glad to have him on the team.
KAY SANDER
Kay Sander recently joined the inside sales team at TRIQBRIQ. As a trained industrial clerk, he brings more than 20 years of sales experience from an industrial company.
His professional roots lie in custom aluminium constructions as well as aluminium and wooden ladders, giving him a solid grounding in structured processes and cross-team collaboration.
Close exchange within the team and the topic of sustainability, which is also close to his heart privately, are especially important to him.
ALEXANDER SCHROPP
As of January 1st, Alexander Schropp has taken over the lead of IT & Digitalisation at TRIQBRIQ.
Drawing on his consulting background, he will continue digitalising and automating our internal processes – integrating key systems even more effectively into our workflows going forward.
He is also looking forward to working together with his colleagues at TRIQBRIQ to further advance our solid-wood building system in the digital space.
JOHANNES KLEIN
Johannes Klein is responsible at TRIQBRIQ for partner management and for building up the system partner network. As a civil engineer, he brings solid expertise in sustainable building and building bioeconomy.
Before joining TRIQBRIQ, he gained extensive experience in projects centred on future-proof building as well as in implementing digitalisation initiatives in the construction industry.
Project developer realdaptive realises NETTO extension with our BRIQs
In Fulda, the first Netto extension using TRIQBRIQ is currently underway – built while the store remains in operation. In total, around 2,600 BRIQs made from industrial and calamity wood are being used – equivalent to more than 57 tonnes of bound CO₂. The project is initiated and implemented by the Realdaptive corporate group, a project developer and asset holder specialising in food retail.
“The TRIQBRIQ building system convinces through high sustainability and particularly fast assembly – two qualities that make a real difference in practice. We are all the more pleased to have now also successfully implemented the system for the extension of a food retail store.”, says Realdaptive managing director Marco Kerstner.
The project shows how climate-friendly conversion can also work in food retail: preserving existing structures, creating space, and closing material loops.
